What did the burglary cost your family?

If your home has been burgled, please take two minutes to tell us what it cost your family.

One entry per household. No names, no postcode, no login.

This is not a police report. Report every burglary to Thames Valley Police on 101 or online, and call 999 if one is in progress.

Required

Month and year of the burglary (required)

No month chosen yet

Approximate value of gold, jewellery and other items taken (required)

A total is only shown publicly once at least 10 households have given a figure, and only for the whole borough.

Did you get a crime reference number? (required)

Don't type the number here. We only need to know whether the police have a record.

What has this loss meant for your family? (required)

Tick all that apply, or describe it in your own words in the last box.

Shown on the Survey Results page straight away, on its own, never with your other answers. We read every comment and take down anything that identifies someone or isn't about the loss.

Privacy notice. We collect no names, addresses, postcodes or contact details, and nothing that could identify you. Please don't put any of these in the comment box. Answers are shown only as totals, never as individual responses. Comments are shown on the Survey Results page as soon as they are submitted, without the rest of your answers; we read them and take down anything identifying.

A residents' initiative by a member of the Wokingham Indian Network (WIN) WhatsApp group. Lawful basis: the legitimate interest of residents in preventing crime and informing the council and police. The site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs and runs a quick check (Turnstile) that submissions come from a person, not a bot; it doesn't use tracking cookies. Kept for 12 months, then deleted. To have a comment removed, or for anything else, email [email protected]. This is a residents' survey, not an official statistic.
